“I don’t get people here. Why wear a suit like thing that covers only parts of your body when you could swim in your undergarments for cheaper.” She relaxed a bit pondering why it was that people here were so diverse than what she had been taught. But that may have been the reason right there, she was raised by people that shut her off from the world because society nowadays wasn’t as important as training. She  pointed her finger at him and curled it in a few times to gesture ‘come here’. “You still have some ass kissing to do Mr. Hat trick. Don’t think I’ve forgotten. Flattery gets you only some points, not alot.”

“I don’t know to be honest. Bolin and I have always swam in our own clothes before being poor and all.” He had been against it at first but Bolin’s happiness came first and so he had relented. They could barely afford clothes so it was all they could do in the end. Someday they’d make it big and everything would change for them but they would always be the simple poor boys they had always been growing up. They would still eat the same crappy meals like they always did and wear the same clothes they wore now. They would never let money change them like it did some people. He looked over at Korra and smiled sheepishly seeing her gesture and moved to sit closer by her now leaning up to her ear now. “Tell me what to do then Miss Avatar.” He whispered with a smirk now and breathed a little hot air on her neck now kissing softly a few times.

She listened and frowned, she wished that he didn’t have to have had a rough childhood. Korra would never wish that on someone, and she wondered what kind of people his and Bolin’s parents were like, and if the would like her. Were they kind and quiet or were they loud and fun. Her mind drifted elsewhere when he moved closer to her. She shivered when she felt the stream of hot air against her neck and fought off a groan. She rolled her head slightly, baring her neck more to him, “Surprise me.” 

He would see her frown and simply leaned over to kiss her forehead softly a few times. Bolin couldn’t even remember them anymore even though he would deny it and make up stuff about them. He could remember he looked a lot like their father but that was about all Mako could remember himself. He had been there when they were killed by muggers. He had lied later and told Bolin they were killed in an accident since he didn’t have the heart to tell him the truth. He was pretty sure they would have loved Korra nonetheless. “As you wish.” Smirks and leans in to kiss a bit at her neck nibbling a little. He then sucked real hard hoping to leave a mark before pulling back with a smirk. “My parents would have loved you. I’m sure they are looking down on us now smiling.” He smiled and nuzzled his forehead against hers a little now.

Humming at the sensation of the little bites at her neck, her eyes opened widely when he sucked a tender spot and she punched him blushing and giggling. Korra smiled and returned the nuzzle,”I hope so, Hm I’m sure my parents are going to like you. As long as you aren’t a jerk.” She smirked and kissed his nose before capturing his lips.

He smirked sheepishly when she punched him as she blushed and then giggled a little. He smiled and rested his head on top of hers now. “I’ve never embarass you in front of your parents Korra. I wanna make a good impression with them. I want them to support us being together.” He smiled as she kissed her nose before kissing him on the lips deepening it a little bit now. He smiled looking back out at the ocean now watching the waves crash around a little bit now. He then looked back to Korra staring into her eyes now. He could hardly wait for tonight he planned to really make it up to Korra then.

She rolled her eyes, “I was kidding, Mako.” She gave him a quick kiss and stood up and walked down to the water. She loved the feeling of the push and pull of the water. And found it highly amusing at the feeling of the water pulling at the sand beneath her feet. Korra turned around smiling at her boyfriend and backed into the water, bending some to splash him in the face. “Come play with me!” She twirled the water around her and dove into the water, bending a bubble around her mouth, waiting for him to come in.
